Dilemma Time

My question for the night is this...all the video footage and, for that matter, all of the coverage is meant to be positive and reward everyone involved with the sport. However, while doing the video thing, there are times when a player might miss a chance to score at the end of the game, make a bad pass, turn the ball over, and on down the list of things that can go wrong when playing a sport, so...

...if it happens at the end of a close game, where the play determines the outcome of the game, what do I do? I'm pretty sure that this question sounds hypothetical to everyone but maybe the two teams involved from this evening, so I would just like to gauge the opinions of the people playing this sport or especially from the one's involved in this particular game.
