Back In Business

After only a few games were played last night because of the sectional seed meetings, we are back to business as usual with a full slate of games on tap for Thursday night (18 boys games, 19 girls games).

All eyes should be on #1 Fenwick vs #2 Stevenson in Lincolnshire at 5:30pm. The rematch from last year's title game is one of the biggest games of the year, as the two teams have yet to play in an all-deep pool in the 2006 season.

Other games of interest include:
BOYS
Fremd at Palatine: Rivals clash in what is normally a very close game
LWE at H-F: Can the Vikings hand the Griffins their first conference loss?
Lyons at Neuqua: Lions are on a roll, with their next stop against John Mikuzis and Neuqua Valley
LWC at Andrew: Tommy Hosty and LWC travel to Andrew to take on Tim Arif and Co.
Latin at Evanston: Romans looking to bounce back after tough games against Fenwick and Pats

GIRLS
Meadows at Hersey: Interesting matchup between 6-3 teams in the MSL
Stagg at Sandburg: Sandburg can clinch a conference title with a win over the Chargers
Evanston at Latin: Potential sectional semifinal preview pits the Wildkits against the Romans
Richards at Naperville Central: Upstart Bulldogs thinking upset against #5 Redhawks
